HOW MANY DOGS DO YOU WALK AT ONE TIME?
When it comes to group walks The Homes of Hounds will never walk in a group bigger than 6.
HOW LONG ARE YOUR WALKS?
We offer a group walk for 30 or 60 minutes. We also offer a 60 minute solo 'house hold' walk. These times do not include pick up and drop off.
DO I NEED TO BE HOME FOR PICK UP AND DROP OFF?
No, a lot of our clients are happy to offer us a key so we are able to pick up and drop off while they are at work or have other commitments. All client keys are locked in a safe and are only accessible to The Home of Hounds Staff.
WHAT HAPPENS IN AN EMERGENCY?
In the unlikely event of an emergency we will contact you immediately. If your dog requires immediate veterinary care we will go to your chosen veterinary practice or the nearest vets depending on the circumstances.
IS THERE A CANCELLATION FEE?
We offer a 24 hour window to cancel your walk with us with no cancellation fee. We do ask that you let us know as soon as possible.
WILL MY DOG HAVE THE SAME DOG WALKER EACH TIME?
We try to keep the same dog walker for your dog as much as possible. We do ensure we familiarise your dog with all our dog walkers if this is not always possible.
WILL MY DOG BE RETURNED HOME CLEAN?
At The Home of Hounds we ensure each dog is washed and rubbed down with a clean towel before returning them home.
MY DOG CAN BE NERVOUS AROUND OTHER DOGS?
At The Home of Hounds we match dogs in groups that are compatible. We use our dog profile, clients wishes and experience to ensure all dogs are kept safe and happy. We make sure each dog has had a meet and greet with each furry friend before their first walk to confirm the dogs are happy together.
